Vigora (Sildenafil Citrate)

Description

The main ingredient in Vigora is sildenafil citrate. It is a type of drug that allows males to achieve and maintain a healthy erection during sexual activity.

It is used as a treatment for male impotence, also known as erectile dysfunction. Vigora is used for the treatment of ED in diabetics and others.

Vigora works by increasing the amount of blood flowing through the vessels to the penis during sexual excitement, which in turn allows for a faster erection to form.

Most people see impotency drugs more as a booster for pleasure, and take it lightly. If you do not respect these drugs, there could be severe side effects.

Never take Vigora if you are currently on a course of drugs that contain nitrates. These include nitroglycerin, isosorbide mono- and di-nitrate and poppers.

Nitrate drugs are usually used in the treatment of angina or other heart problems. The reaction of Vigora with these causes acute drops in blood pressure.

Do not take it if you are also taking other medicine to treat PAH or pulmonary arterial hypertension. Tell your doctor about all the other medication you are on.

Talk to your doctor first if you have a history of heart diseases, arrhythmia, coronary arterial disorders, heart attacks, strokes, blood pressure problems, hepatic and renal issues, sickle cell anemia, leukemia, hemophilia, ulcers and hereditary eye conditions.

Vigora can cause the blood supply to the optic nerve to shut off. This can lead to sudden changes in vision as well as the acute loss of sight.

Unborn children aren’t thought to be at risk by exposure to Vigora. Nevertheless, tell your doctor if you are, or plan on becoming pregnant while taking it.

The effect that Vigora has on children being fed breast milk is unknown. Tell your doctor if you have a new born that you are breast feeding at present.

Never give Vigora to children under the age of 18.

Dosage

You can only buy Vigora in a pharmacy if you have a doctor’s prescription. There are different strengths available, based on the prescription.

The normal dosage is in increments of 25mg, starting at 25mg, 50mg and 100mg. It is a blue tablet.

The pill needs to be swallowed whole. Do not crush it, break it or chew it. Drink it down with a glass of water. Do not drink alcohol with it.

Drink Vigora at least 1 hour before starting any sexual activity. The effects should start about half an hour after drinking it and last for up to 4 hours.

If it has been prescribed to you, make sure you follow the instructions on the label as well as you can. Never take more or less than has been advised to you.
