Description
Suhagra is a drug used primarily in South Asia. It is a muscle relaxant which uses sildenafil citrate as the main ingredient.
It increases the blood flow to certain parts of the body by relaxing the walls of the blood vessels supplying those areas.
While it is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction in men, it can also be prescribed to both sexes as a treatment for pulmonary arterial hypertension.
Important data
Remember that Suhagra and other impotency medication don’t give you erections out of the blue. You must be sexually aroused for this to happen.
Suhagra is available as oral jelly, pills, chewable pills and more.
Suhagra makes use of sildenafil, which is an enzyme blocker. It inhibits the production of the phosphodiesterase-5 enzyme.
This enzyme is responsible for blocking the relaxation of the smooth muscles in the penis. Stopping it means the blood vessels dilate and supply more blood to penile tissue.
Do not take Suhagra if you are allergic to sildenafil. Talk to your doctor about any possible allergies you might have.
If you are pregnant, or you are planning on becoming pregnant while taking Suhagra, make sure you tell your doctor first.
If you are recently with a child and you are currently breastfeeding a baby, tell your doctor about it before you do so.
Talk to your doctor if you have a history of heart conditions and angina. Tell them if you have diabetes, thyroid problems, hepatic and renal issues and bladder infections.
If you have been prescribed Suhagra for ED, impotence, pulmonary arterial hypertension or any other, do not give your pills to another person, especially one under 18 years of age.
In case of being employed in a job where you need to drive, or operate heavy machinery, exercise caution as Suhagra can impair reaction time.
Dosage
If the doctor has prescribed this drug to you, make sure that you follow the directions written down in the prescription.
Do not change your dosage if your doctor has specified one strength and routine. Don’t stop taking the pills earlier, or keep going for longer.
The standard dose is a pill once a day, taken approximately one hour before sexual activity begins. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water.
Do not break, crush or chew the pill as this will negate the effects and counteract the slow release of the sildenafil into your system.
Control the calories in your meals. The more nutritious your diet it, the more effective the Suhagra will be to you.
Do not take more than one tablet every 24 hours.
Missed doses and overdose
Because Suhagra is taken when needed, for sexual engagement, it is highly unlikely that you will be affected when you miss a dose.
If you happen to overdose, you will need to call your local poison hotline immediately. Also, seek emergency medical assistance.
