Description
Quibron-t is a class of medication that is referred to as an oral bronchodilator. Theophylline, a xanthine derivative, is the primary product in Quibron-T.
Uses
Quibron-T is utilized to treat the signs that are experienced with diseases such as asthma, emphysema, and bronchitis. These type of lung and breathing diseases cause the airway to constrict. This makes it difficult to breathe and can lead to other symptoms as well. Quibron-T works by targeting the different components of the airways that are affected by these chronic conditions. The theophylline functions by causing the muscles in the airway to relax.
This allows the airways to expand in size and allow more air to enter the lungs. This helps individuals to breathe more easily. In addition, Quibron-T also helps the diaphragm to contract more easily. The diaphragm plays a large role in breathing. Quibron-T also helps to reduce the reaction that the airway has to pollutants or irritants. This stops the airway from swelling and closing up.
