Himcolin is marketed as an all natural herbal extract that treats erectile dysfunction in adult males. Himcolin is made from a blend of various Ayurvedic herbal extracts, but the main ingredient is a plant called Jyotishmati, also known as Climbing Staff Tree.
Erectile dysfunction, or impotence, is the inability of an adult male to gain and keep an erection during sexual intercourse. Erectile dysfunction is not a natural part of ageing. The causes of erectile dysfunction are many, which differ from individual to individual. It’s more common in older men, and can be treated with medically approved drugs like Viagra. Himcolin is only an herbal supplement and is not a medically approved drug to treat erectile dysfunction.
Himcolin claims to provide vasodilatation (increased blood flow) to penile tissue so it’s much more easier to achieve or retain an erection. It claims to relax muscles and strengthen an erection, in addition to providing an antioxidant soothing effect to the surface of the penis upon application. Other purported benefits of Himcolin include preventing oxidative damage and “correcting” sponge-like area of the penis.
The main ingredient of Himcolin, the extract of the Climbing Staff Tree (Jyotishmati), is said to function as a rubefacient (a substance that causes redness by dilating capillaries) and a stimulator for sensitive areas of the penis.
Other ingredients of Himcolin include, musk mallow (Lathakasthuri), Vathada, Nirgundi (Vitex negundo), karpasa (gossypium herbaceum), Jaatipatree (myristica fragrans), Jatiphalam (Mystrica fragrans),Taja (Cinnamomum cassia) Mukulaka (Pistiac vera) and Lavanga (Syzygium aromaticum). Musk mallow is said to act as an aphrodisiac that increases sexual desire.
Dosage
Himcolin is a topical gel that should be applied onto the surface of the penis. To apply, wash hands and towel dry.
Then squeeze the gel onto the fingertips, and gently apply over the genital area while massaging slightly. It’s not recommended to apply the gel to the head of the penis as it can cause irritation.
Himcolin gel should be applied immediately before sexual intercourse.
It’s highly recommended to consult a physician before using Himcolin gel. Men with a history of skin or genital diseases or with sensitive skin should consult a dermatologist before using Himcolin gel.
Side Effects
Himcolin is not a clinically approved treatment for erectile dysfunction. There are no peer reviewed scientific studies or medical trials conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of Himcolin. Therefore, there are no known side effects of Himcolin.
Regardless, side effects may occur in individuals following usage. Immediately report any unusual medical conditions, such as severe skin irritation, following Himcolin usage to a medical doctor.
