Description
This is a medicine that is used to treat infections caused by fungi. These are typically in the skin, nails and scalp. It is used when creams do not work.
Using medication like Grifulvin on the infected area alleviates the symptoms like itchiness, red skin and off-color nails.
Grifulvin works by inhibiting the growth and propagation of the causal fungi. However, it doesn’t treat yeast infections and those caused by bacteria.

Dosage
Grifulvin is an oral suspension (liquid). Shake it well before measuring a dose and take it according to the dosage given in your prescription label.
Take Grifulvin right after a moderately high-fat meal for the best effects. If your doctor gives you a diet to stick to, go with it.
Don’t try and give Grifulvin to another person or use it on yourself for a different infection. The dosage you were given is meant for you and your current infection.
