Uses
Eurax is used to treat certain skin conditions that are caused by parasites. This medication is used, in particular, to treat a skin disease known as scabies. Scabies are caused by insects known as mites. These mites invade the skin and burrow in, laying their eggs. This ailment can be transferred from person to person by physical contact. This disease causes excessive itching leading to infections, wounds, and lesions on the skin.
Eurax works by killing the mites that are responsible for the irritation of the skin. This medication is also used to diminish the itching that is experienced with other skin infections and disorders.

Dosage
It is important to carefully adhere to any directions that may have been given to you by a health expert. You should avoid taking Eurax in a quantity that is differs from the quantity that has been prescribed.
This medication is a topical agent and should be applied to the surface of the skin.
Eurax should be applied to skin that is under the chin. It should be massaged into the skin for optimal effect.
For best results, reapply the topical agent 24 hours after the initial application.
Two days after you have applied the treatment, you can remove it by washing it from your body.
In the event that you accidentally consume Eurax, call your emergency medical service immediately.
Side Effects

There are certain medications that may negatively interact with Eurax. Inform your doctor about all the medications, both prescribed and self-dosed, that you may be currently using.
