Contraindications

Medications prescribed for high blood pressure or that suppress the production of acetylcholine may also interact negatively with Endep.

 

Do not use this medication with MAO inhibitors as they may cause a fatal reaction. Cease taking drugs with MAO inhibitors at least two weeks before you start taking Endep. You should wait at least two weeks after you have stopped taking Endep before you begin taking drugs with MAO inhibitors again.

 

Inform your physician of any medications you may be taking before you are prescribed with Endep. Your doctor needs to know, especially, if you are taking any drugs to stabilize your heart rate or any other heart function.

 

Inform your doctor if you are taking any medications that have a sedative effect.
