Ciplox is also known as Ciloxan in the industry.
How It Works
This antibiotic belongs to a group of drugs known as quinolones.
These drugs work by stopping the growth of bacteria in your system.
This stops the infection from worsening into a more severe condition.
Uses

Note that the medication will only be useful in treating eye issues caused as a result of bacterial infections. The drug will not be effective when it is used to treat regular eye problems. Furthermore, the drug is commonly used to treat people who have been exposed to anthrax.
Application
Before you apply the eye drops, you need to wash your hands properly. This eliminates the possible chances of contamination. Never allow the tip of the dropper to touch your eye or any other surface. It is best to remove your contact lenses when applying this medication. Using contact lenses can increase the chances of irritation. When applying the medication, hold the dropper right above your eye and apply one drop. Keep your eyes closed for a minute or two. Gently apply some pressure to the corner of your eye. This will prevent the medication from draining out. If you are using more than one drop, repeat these steps. Never rub or blink your eye after applying the medication.
If you are using any other medications including herbal ointments, wait for 5 minutes before you apply them.
Continue to use this medication on a regular basis, even after the symptoms have disappeared. If you stop the treatment too early, it can result in a relapse of the infection. Therefore, do not stop using the medication without notifying your physician.
