Atarax (Hydroxyzine)

Description

The drug popularly known as Atarax (hydroxyzine) is used to control various problems caused by generation of substance called histamine. Problems which are treated are running nose, itching, watery eyes and hives/ dermatitis on the skin. This drug also releases stress and anxiety by limiting the activity in the central nervous system. It is also used as anesthesia when mixed with the other medicines. Sometimes, it is used to control vomiting and nausea as well.

 

This is available at pharmacy stores in different two forms: as tablets and as liquid.
