Description
Aricept is a drug used to treat dementia caused as a result of Alzheimer’s Disease. This medication does not cure Alzheimer’s since it is only useful in combating memory loss and other signs of dementia. This enzyme blocker is also commonly known as Donepezil.
How It Works
This medication works by controlling a brain chemical known as acetylcholine. This chemical is responsible for important cognitive abilities such as thinking, reasoning and memory processing.
